MACCT Track Information

The Master of Accounting degree offers four tracks. All concentrations are a 33 credit hour program of study.

  • Advanced Track is designed for individuals who have already earned a BBA with a concentration in accounting.
  • Tax Track is designed for individuals who have already earned a BBA with a concentration in accounting wishing to pursue advanced studies in taxation.
  • Professional Track is for individuals who have completed an undergraduate degree in a discipline other than accounting.
  • Information Assurance Track is for individuals who have already earned a BBA with a concentration in accounting.

JD/MACCT Dual Degree

The School of Law and the Anderson Graduate School of Management also offer a dual program leading to the degrees of Juris Doctor and Master of Accounting. Those planning to enter the dual program should consult with the admission officers of both schools as early as possible.

* Any course taken at the undergraduate level cannot be taken at the graduate level. The graduate level requirement will be waived, but the student must replace the course with an elective and obtain preapproval from the faculty advisor.

(1) MGMT 526 has 2 prerequisites. They are MGMT 501 and MGMT 502. Please email Dr. Craig White, Faculty Advisor for the MACCT program, to discuss the coursework options available to students to the fulfill this course requirement.
