Anderson MACCT Program Schedule

UNM Duckpond A 33-hour degree program for students who do not have an undergraduate degree in accounting and who wish to pursue a career in accounting. This program provides graduates from any discipline with a strong foundation in accounting for successful completion of professional examinations required for certification in accounting. The degree requires two introductory classes in accounting as pre-requisites for admission into the program. This is a lock-step program and admits students in the fall of each year. Students may complete the curriculum full time in 12 months or part-time in 24 months. The curriculum for this degree is as follows:

  • Required Accounting Courses - 24 hours
  • Graduate Non-accounting Electives - 9 hours (may include Law for Accountants)
